Meet The Team!

The Windber Area Community Kitchen (WACK) is a 501(c)(3) organization.  Those responsible for the oversight of WACK include a talented Administrative Assistant, who runs the day-to-day management activities of the organization and a five-member board.

Board members of the Windber Area Community Kitchen are the decision makers and ambassadors of the organization, working to follow through on projects, carry out the organization’s mission, and provide value to our community.

The WACK Board is a working Board of Directors, responsible not only for running the organization but also for chairing/co-chairing committees and attending events.

The members of this team are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as making sure WACK is adequately ] resourced to advance its mission.
